Sue Williams (b. 1954, Chicago) is a feminist painter who often combines themes of gender politics and the body into her work. She came to prominence in the early 1980s with works that echoed and argued with the dominant postmodern feminist aesthetic of the time. She was awarded a Guggenheim Fellowship in 1993.
